Puppy Life Skills Class
New drop in class for puppies 12 weeks to 5 months of age
This class is considered a rolling class, so you this class will continue going with no stop. You can take it as many times as you would like till the puppy ages out. You can also take this class through puppy kindergarten to give that little extra socialization and life skill building, while working on your manners.
This class will run weekly and pre-registration is required. There will be approximately 20 minutes of puppy playtime and 20 minutes of working on a life skill, such as Confidence building, new situations or body handling.
Our Puppy Life Skills Class is geared towards you and your puppy being successful. We strive to teach you the human the skills needed to teach your puppy how to live, respond, and be in this world of ours in the most positive and fun way possible. In your average puppy class, there are skills taught such as sit, down, stay, come etc. In this class, you will get all of that and more! From teaching your puppy to seek you out for attention versus the other dogs or humans to teaching them to make choices that are more positive than negative, all while developing their confidence. This class helps your puppy build trust in you and in turn grow the bond between you and your puppy with the added guidance of direct contact with the trainers in the class, online support between a private access page through the website and a client dog training community Facebook page that provides further resources and guidance!
The end goal of this class is to start developing the relationship where the puppy can look to you for direction and be able to make choices confidently without becoming reactive, fearful, or stressed. We strive to make sure you get the skills needed to practice with your dog to achieve just that so that they can be successful, happy, and thriving.
Cost is $35 per a class, if you want to register for four session at a time please email for a discount price.
Puppy Kindergarten
For puppies 4 months-8 months. We do not do puppy socialization in this class as our mission in our training is to allow you to be the best thing in your puppies world. Allowing your puppy to focus on you in high distraction environments!
We will work on: Puppy chewing, Human nipping, Sit, Down, Stay, Touch, Focus, go to place, collar grab and leash, wait, coming when called, start of leash walking
Note: The first class is a non-dog classes, where the human is getting the education, not the dog. This allows all students to be set up and ready for the second class for when they bring their dog. The hope is to provide students with everything they need to have their first class be a success.
